Welcome to Adotion. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding data collection, handling, storage, and sharing when you use our Chrome extension and website.

2. Data Collection

  • Account Information: When you authenticate via third-party OAuth, we collect your email address, full name, profile picture, and authentication credentials to create and manage your account.
  • Integration Data: We request an OAuth token from your Notion workspace to enable page creation and embeds.
  • Extension Permissions: The extension utilizes the "tabs" permission to manage authentication workflows and "storage" to save your database preferences locally.
  • Cookies: The extension accesses specific Facebook cookies necessary to securely process and download the video ads you explicitly choose to save.

3. Data Handling

Data handling is restricted strictly to providing the core Adotion service. The data collected, including account profiles, Facebook cookies, and Notion tokens, is utilized solely to personalize your extension interface, download video files, upload them to secure cloud storage, and embed them into your selected database. We do not track your general browsing history or use your data for advertising.

4. Data Storage

Your database preferences and active tokens are stored locally on your device using Chrome's local storage. Account profiles (including your name, email, and avatar), saved ad metadata, and processed video files are stored securely on our Supabase cloud servers utilizing industry-standard encryption protocols.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. Your data is only shared with essential third-party service providers required to operate the extension: Notion (for workspace integration), Supabase (for database hosting and identity management), and Dodo Payments (for secure payment processing).

6. Your Rights

You may disconnect your Notion workspace, request a copy of your data, or delete your Adotion account at any time. Deleting your account will permanently remove your stored data, including your profile information and saved metadata, from our active servers.
